Redundancy:
Partnership Action for Continuing Employment (PACE) provides a partnership approach to deal with redundancy situations. Dedicated local response teams have been set up across Scotland, standing ready to offer the necessary support and advice.

There is a range of organisations that work in partnership across both North and South Lanarkshire to offer a comprehensive package of help and advice on job hunting including extra support to overcome personal obstacles. It is important to know that this guide is not exhaustive, nor was it intended to be.
Jobcentre Plus can help you find the right kind of job whether full time or part time, temporary or permanent. They can take you on a journey through the various stages of getting job ready; help improve existing skills or develop new ones; specialist provision to help you cope with and overcome personal issues; benefits and financial advice; assist with becoming self employed and help you search and apply for vacancies.

Routes to Work Limited helps unemployed residents of North Lanarkshire to access opportunities in education, training and employment. Routes to Work provide advice, information, guidance and practical support, to develop and enhance your employment prospects. We are particularly keen to promote our services to those who reside within the most disadvantaged areas of North Lanarkshire and to anyone who may be facing other barriers, such as health and childcare, to getting back to work.
